Adamantas is the capital of Milos and has the biggest port of the island. It is the most developed part of the island and has many hotels, rooms for rent, taverns, bars, coffee shops and practically everything one may need during his stay on the island. Adamantas is situated in a bay and is considered one of the biggest natural ports of the Mediterranean. The capital of Adamantas is built following to the traditional Cycladic architecture of blue and white.
Kleftiko beach consists of impressive volcanic white rocks, which have been formed by the waves and the air, into the Aegean blue waters.it can be approached only by the sea and it is not an organized beach.
Firiplaka beach is small and narrow with gigantic rocks on the back side and a big vertical rock inside the sea. It has greyish sand, shallow blue waters with small pebbles making it ideal for children as it is also partly organized.
Tsigrado beach is a small bay with crystal clear waters, and it is surrounded by rocks which form an amazing landscape. It is difficult to access by car or on foot and even if one manages to reach it, he will have to climb down a wooden ladder.
Provatas is a small coastal town between the beaches of Firiplaka and Kipos. It has a very nice beach with gold sand and very shallow waters which is ideal for families with small children. The beach is surrounded with shops and many fish taverns where you can eat fresh fish. It is a well-organized beach.
